New EP: "Newton's Cradle"

Here's a new EP from The Armchair Captains to keep you going until the next full album. This release puts the Prog in Prog-Funk, albeit not so much of the Funk...

The Crushening features a groovy riff, catchy chorus and witty lyrics. The merciless mockery of ten-year-old Tory party Slogan “Strong and Stable” is no doubt behind the recent shift in political opinion in the UK.

The enigmatic Enigma is perhaps the most intricately produced Armchair Captains song to date. Clocking in at roughly twice the length of The Crushening, this is a proggy journey through different textures, keys and melodies.

Macabre is epic in scope and duration, at double the length again of Enigma. The darkest in tone of the three tracks on this EP, but ending with a ray of hope.
